VISITING ARTIST - Cartoonist Stephen Silver

 

Professional cartoonist and character designer Stephen Silver will give a slide presentation at the Museum of the Rockies on Thursday evening November 5th at 6:00 pm. Globally known for his illustrations of “Kim Possible” on the Disney Channel, Silver has designed characters for Sony Feature Animation, Nickelodeon Animation and Disney Television Animation.

 

Silver’s lively talk will explore the process of production within animation studios and being a freelance animator as a career. This visiting artist talk hosted in the Hager Auditorium is co-sponsored by the MSU Graphic Design Program and Museum of the Rockies in conjunction with the exhibition “Art of the Warner Bros. Cartoon” that is currently on display at MOR. The lecture is free and open to the public.
