Drawing at MSU

At 750 square feet, the drawing studio is designed to facilitate a maximum of 15 students. Natural light comes from the west and the studio contains fluorescent lighting as well as incandescent track lighting. Blackout curtains are used to create a variety of light effects. A large closet serves as a changing room for model as well as storage for the extensive collection of still-life props. The studio is furnished with 15 Klopfenstein adjustable drawing tables and several drawing easels. Two walls of the room are used for pinning up drawings for critiques. The MFA program accepts students in this discipline.
